Thompson was born on September 8, 1946, in Los Angeles. She is the USA Today Bestseller author whose six books from the Gaslight Mystery series were nominated for Edgar and Agatha Awards and Counterfeit Lady series nominated for Sue Grafton Memorial Award respectively. Victoria has written 20 historical romances and 28 mysteries series and still writing and contributing to the field of the mystery genre.
At present, Victoria Thompson is living in Chicago with her husband and children.
