Just curious why you don’t have all the authors listed. Notably missing was Marc Cameron. I was looking for a complete list of Jack Ryan books but had to look up the authors that were missing. All the same author, it turns out. ?
You can find Marc Cameron’s Books List here – Marc Cameron Books In Order
Thank You
I found that there is a book called Red Winter but I don’t see it listed? Where does it fall in the Jack Ryan universe chronology?
Hi David,
With a chronology, Red Winter will be the 5th book. We have updated the list.
Thank You
Which do you recommend for the reading order? Publication date order or chronological book order? Just wondering which would give the best understanding of the Jack Ryan series.
For better understanding always go for the chronological order of the books.
Does anyone know where I can find a list that shows what year each book takes place in? The Wikipedia page says Against All Enemies and Locked On take place in 2008 but use the 2010/11 calendar. But in both books, certain events are explicitly said to have happened during 2010 or 2011. In Locked On one character gives a prediction for how his company will do in 2012. This would also mean that the dates for Dead or Alive are incorrect on Wikipedia.
Why should you read the Jack Ryan series in Chronological order in stead of when the book came out?
