See you again. Thank you for reading.
There have been a couple of books published since his death. How may more will be published that have been co-authored under his name, i.e. Fast Ice by Cussler/Graham Brown,
Hi Nancy,
Many of Clive’s books are co-authored by Boyd Morrison. So, we can expect some more in the future. As we don’t have an exact idea of what projects were on between them.
After his death, two books were already published which we have added to Clive’s books list.

Greetings
I believe I have almost all of Cussler’s works, and going over your list, noted at least 7 of Cussler’ works are missing that are in my collection. The first two written were concerning his car collection, many of which appeared in various books mentioned above. The other two were his works aimed toward our “younger set,” those being ” Vin Fiz” published in 2006, and “Hotsy Totsy” published in 2010. The other 3, “The Sea Hunter and “The Sea Hunter II” tell of his adventures finding the various shipwrecks and other expeditions, and then there was “Dirk Pitt Revealed,” the story how he started writing his series and developing the many characters appearing in his books. Anyone collecting Cussler’s works would probably like to add them too. The only two missing from my collection are the two on his car collection.
Hi Donald S Oremus,
Thank you for your valuable comment. We have added all the missing collections of Clive. Great catch.

I may have scanned over it but I don’t see “Wrath of the Poseidon” published in May 2020 in the Fargo Series.
Hi Suzanne,
Thank you for letting us know about the missing titles. we have added Wrath of Poseidon and The Serpent’s Eye for the Fargo Adventures series.
I wish I could remember my first read and how I was introduced to Clive Cussler, but I can only say what a wonderful imagination and storytelling he had. He drew on his experiences, and always provided accurate information depending on the story of details which gave the story a real sense of truth. I don’t remember if he did it in all of his books, but Clive Cussler did show up in quite a few of his works of art in storytelling, as a character in that story.
He will be sorely missed. As with several of my favorite authors, several other writers co-authored books in series after that author’s passing. Two such authors were Tom Clancy and Vince Flynn.
I really hope all the different series he wrote, will be able to be continued, maybe by his Son who has his own ability for writing too. Clive Cussler cared about his audience and gave us all adventure and fun and excitement, and he truly has a wonderful legacy for the next generation, my grandkids. My prayer is that he rests now until Jesus comes, and that which is already here as his legacy will continue as a memorial to a great author and human being.
Thank You – a dedicated fan: Sue
Hi Susan,
Loved your response.
Thank You
I remember quite fondly my exposure to Clive Cussler in the Mediterranean Caper with Dirk Pitt. I was hooked afterwards and have continued to be a life long reader. His addition of Isaac Bell, Juan Cabrera, the Fargos, and others have been terrific reads for the past forty years.
Wow, loved your response
Looks like there is a new Dirt Pitt novel coming out – The Devil’s Sea by Dirk Cussler.

I was never one for reading much, then one day at work a coworker gave me a Clive cussler book to read. Sense that I have read and have just about all of his books and can’t wait for the next one to be released. I keep everyone I have read.
Absolutely fantastic my friend. Loved your response.
I HAVE READ MANY OF CLIVES BOOKS AND HAVE LIKED EVERY ONE OF THEM! EVERY ASPECT IS GREAT AND SOMETHING THAT MIGHT BE “STUPID” BUT EVERY ONE OF THEM HAS SOME ROMANCE BUT THEY AREN’T DIRTY!
Thank you for your lovely feedback
What about, “Mayday!”? It’s the second book in the Dirk Pitt series.
Hello,
I have read most of Clive’s books and my favorites are the Oregon Files, the Numa Files, and Dirk Pitt.
The Sam and Remi Fargo books are ok and the Issac Bell books seem to drag a bit. I liked the first one the best!
Hi,
What a great legacy the great Clive Cussler has created in all his works, being Dirk Pitt being his best and naming his son after the character as well seems to have a soft spot for him as well and the created works living on through his son and co-writers is a joy.
Looking forward to the next adventure? I have in my collection most of Clive Cussler’s books in various forms Paperback & Audio but for me, HardBack is the best.
R.I.P Clive Cussler
We all will miss you

Hi Chris, We have updated the Clive Cussler books list today
Thank you for the feedback
I remember the first book I read of his, I was a USAF Brat, and it was Vixen 03. We were stationed at Kadena AB, Okinawa, Japan (77-80) at the time and my mom picked up a copy of this book. I remember seeing the C-97 on the cover and as usual, I was grounded for some infraction for some ridiculous amount of time. I picked the book up, and read it to maintain my sanity and pass time followed by Raise the Titanic. The next one I read was Night Probe a few years later on our way to Germany in 82.
Being in High School then, I didn’t read much after that, fast forward to 91 and I’m now in the USAF myself. I walked into the BX while deployed for Operation Desert Shield/Storm and there was Treasure and Dragon on the rack. That started me reading his books again and before I knew it I was trading the paperback copies for hardback copies, building up my collection. Today I’m short one book, Pacific Vortex, I wish they would do a re-release of it as they did for The Mediterranean Caper, in standard hardback format (6.35 x 9.28).
His books have followed me on deployments to Oman and Uzbekistan for Operation Enduring Freedom, Kuwait for Operation Southern Watch, and Italy/Bosnia/Herzegovina for Operations Joint Endeavor and Joint Forge. His books have long been an escape for me from the long hours during deployments, and now that I’m retired, they still keep me sane and help pass the time. just like they did when I was a kid. I’ve actually gone back and re-read every book in order since my retirement.
In his passing, we lost a talented author and adventurer that created several generations of readers. I can only hope that they continue to release books under his name and in his memory for years to come.
Mike

Hi
Going through your list I’ve read 29 of Clive’s books and see I still have at least 60 to go. That will be thoroughly enjoyed as I did the first 29.
I do note that Mayday (a Dirk Pitt adventure) is missing from the list. First published 1977.
Regards from Cape Town, South Africa.
Thank you very much for your lovely feedback. keep reading.
Really enjoy Clive Cussler’s books. I am glad that each of the series seems to be carrying on in the same structure since Mr. Cussler’s passing.
By any chance do you know if the early Dirk Pitt books (Vixon 03 through to Shock Wave) will be available on Kindle?
Thank you for the accurate lists!
Thank you for this lovely feedback on Clive Cussler’s books.

Thank you for providing this invaluable information.
As a Clive Cuddler fan, I have many of his books gracing the shelves of my library. I also have several of his audiobooks on my phone.
I have learned much from his books, such as the writing process, and real-life applications.
He is the reason I began writing. I am working on my 6th novel, none of which would have come to fruition without Clive.
Unfortunately, I have nothing published however I will soon.
Rest in Peace Clive as we keep your memory alive by reading your knowledgable books.
There are no Kurt Austin books in the listings , why? John
