Agatha Christie is a short name and her full name was Dame Agatha Mary Clarissa Christie-Miller, who was born on 15th September 1890 in Torquay, Devon, England. She was the greatest writer at that time and famous for her detective novels.
She never went to any high school and she did take the classes from her mother at home. Her mother was her only teacher who taught her everything, her mother was her teacher, principal, school, college, and everything.
Agatha Christie was a working woman before she started writing, She worked in a hospital as a nurse and try to provide service to poor people.
She was always looking for the opportunity to do something for a good cause and nursing was one of the works that she enjoyed doing. With her creative and classy writing style, she was quite famous in British and known as British Cozy mysteries.
Her father was an American and her mother was British, and she was red up by both, and pretty much she was a mixture of British and American.
In world war-I, she was working as a nurse and she contributed to world war -II by working in a hospital as an assistant in the medical college in London. She was very close to her father and used to say that her father was an agreeable man and a genuine gentleman of all time.
Her father was a mentor who used to teach her at home along with her mother. She belonged to a middle-class family; her mother was too a storyteller. Agatha Christie met Archibald Christie and soon after a couple of months, they both got married in 1914 during world war-I. she had one daughter and her husband was a soldier and was fighting in world war-I. But the marriage did not run for too long and eventually they got separated, meanwhile, her mother passed away and it was the most difficult time for her in life.
After the death of her mother and divorce from her husband she became helpless and became very emotional. She disappeared suddenly for more than 10 days and nobody had any idea where did she go. When she returned she felt a little better and later on she decided to marry Sir Max Mallowan in the year 1930.
